Peganum Harmala (Syrian Rue) powder

Syrian Rue contains Harmine and Harmaline, the same alkaloids present in the B.Caapi vine, in high concentrations.

Syrian Rue, from Iran, contains the same harmine and harmalien alkaloids which create the MAOI (Mono Amine Oxidase Inhibitor) effects of the Banisteriopsis Caapi (Yage / Ayahuasca) vine, and can be either substituted for the vine, or used in conjunction with it, in ayahuasca ceremonies.

Typically, 4-5g of the powdered seeds are crushed and swallowed orally, and MAOI effects occur after around 45 minutes.
